ACT Center for Equity in Learning

Katie Lott Gragnaniello is the Manager of Partner Communications for ACT’s Center for Equity in Learning based in Washington, D.C. Katie manages the Center’s internal and external communications and supports program development and implementation. Before the Center’s launch in 2016, Katie worked at the ACT Foundation. In her role, Katie helped facilitate the Learning is Earning 2026 campaign at SXSWedu and SkillsUSA, supported the Foundation’s work with the National Network of Business and Industry, and organized the Future of Working and Learning Policy Forum in D.C.

Prior to joining ACT in 2015, Katie worked at K12, Inc. where she served as the Manager of State Testing in the innovative and rapidly growing space of virtual education and the policy surrounding it. Katie continues to study virtual education and the impact it has on underserved, rural communities and workforce development.

A native Texan, graduate from Texas State University, and former teacher, Katie continues her exploration and passion for education and entrepreneurialism in her role at ACT. When she is not reading about start-ups or dreaming about owning her own business, she can be found practicing yoga, writing, traveling, spending time with her family, and spoiling her nephew.
