ACT’s Center for Equity in Learning
Christina Gordon is senior director for the Center. In this role, she oversees strategy efforts, as well as research, communications, and partner relationships. Prior to ACT’s Center for Equity in Learning, she worked for the ACT Foundation, leading efforts around the role of working learners in both education and the workforce.
Gordon has a passion for education, equity, and leadership, working for nearly two decades in mission-driven nonprofit organizations. Her work has focused on STEM education, pro bono legal efforts, and school board service, as well as education equity. She has a background in organizational strategy and strategic communications that she has used to build and advance organizations’ mission and goals. A former seventh grade teacher, Gordon believes strongly in ensuring that all students have an equal opportunity to be successful and find a love of learning. She has a BA in English Literature from Wittenberg University.
