Program Manager, Research & Communications
ACT Center for Equity in Learning
Nycole Stawinoga is the Program Manager for research and communications at ACT’s Center for Equity in Learning. In her role, Nycole manages and supports the Center’s internal and external communications strategy for research focused on educational equity and working learners.
Prior to joining ACT, Nycole worked at SIIA as the Education Policy and Program Manager where she focused on education policy issues affecting the education technology market. Nycole also served as the Director of Research and Legislative Affairs at School Choice Wisconsin where she managed the organization’s education policy, research, and communications initiatives. Additionally, Nycole was a third grade teacher at Baltimore City Public Schools.
Nycole has a BA in International Relations, Global Studies, and Spanish from Winona State Unviersity and an MA in International Affairs from Marquette University. Passionate about animals, When Nycole isn’t immersed in the latest education research report, she can be found walking her dog Aly or volunteering at the local animal rescue.
