Now is the time when our GEAR UP seniors are navigating the college application process. We invite Coordinators, Family Engagement Specialists, Peer Mentors, and all those in the position to guide and support our students during this important step. By joining the American College Application Campaign, high schools and school communities can take steps to ensure every senior engages in the virtual and in-person experience of applying to college. Join our webinar to hear firsthand from Lisa Sommer King, Director at American College Application Campaign, Center for Equity in Learning (ACT), and Rachelle Sturges, Oklahoma GEAR UP School Specialist. Lisa and Rachelle will introduce the campaign, discuss what it means to be a host site, and provide guidance on hosting a college application event this year with COVID-19 limitations that can be turned into virtual and hybrid learning opportunities!
